So today we went to the Digital Moose Lounge Annual Canada Day Picnic in Huddart Park, Woodside. We went there with Tim, Rena and Evy Critchley as well as Rena's parents who were visiting from Vancouver. It's always nice to get together with our fellow Canucks.

As usual we took a bunch of pics, my favorite is the first one below. To me it's a classic mother/son pic, you can totally tell they're related, same expression, Mason's got his Mum's nose, classic I tell ya!

The video below is when the group sang O Canada when Mason was sleeping so you can hear him midway through crying a little, but in tune then at the end he was like "Dang big people, why did you wake me up!".

So this weekend I went on my first trip away from home! We went to Santa Cruz, CA it was so much fun! We stayed at a nice resort called the Chaminade. It was pretty cool although my parents took a while to figure out how to work one of the sinks. Big people can be a little slow some times, but that's ok I love them anyhow! We walked along the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz and my Mum ate a smoked turkey leg pretty much all by herself. Mum says she doesn't want to see turkey for a long, long time now!

So today I went to my first concert! It was the Alice 97.3 Summerthing annual concert up at Golden Gate Park. We were there with Uncle Tim, Auntie Rena and Evy. It was Evy's first concert too! We had fun sitting in the back taking in the music which is a lot different than my nursery rhymes. Put me to sleep for a little bit :-) I got to hang out with my Mum in my little tent, can't wait for my next concert!

So after a long day of tiring the little guy out and myself getting pretty tired as well. Mason went to bed at 10:30pm and slept all the way to 6:00am. A nice Father's Day gift to me! Thanks Mason!!! Hopefully he keep it up!

So Lien started reading to Mason since his grandparents went back to Toronto. I took a shot at reading to him and he seemed to like it. He's also starting to like sitting into his Bumbo. He can sit in it for 10 minutes now!

So today was Popo's birthday so we celebrated by taking a walk in Central Park! It was my first time in the park, it was fun to see all the pretty flowers and the big statue of the giraffe, it's so much bigger than my Dad!!! We wanted to check out the Japanese Tea Gardens there, but they were closed, oh well next time!

Took this video of Mason early in the morning. I love it because you can hear him coo, grin a little and try to push out some poop haha!

So during our preparation for Mason's arrival Lien and I took this birthing preparation course called Birthing From Within. And today we had the first reunion of all the babies! We got together to share all our birthing experiences, what we liked, how we handled things, what we didn't like and if there was anything we would change and of course getting to see and know each of the babies. From left to right below there's Indigo, Shannon, Hamza and Mason. We look forward to seeing them all in August!

So today I went to the beach with my parents, Popo and the Critchleys! We went to Baker Beach up in San Francisco. It was really busy as it was Memorial Day. It was also super windy, but sunny so we had fun sitting in the sand. My parents had me bundled up real good! I have some nice pics to remember this with below!
